Dayumm! I've always loved rx8's. And it makes it even sweeter being a special edition and all. People always bash the rotary engine around here but I know they've never rode in a car with one or raced one. Mazda wouldn't be where they are today if they were doing something wrong.

But schweeeeeeet car reguardless!

nice find. i've heard reports of the passenger being kinda noisy from the road and engine, is that true? what about the ride?

shepski: Yeah, gas mileage is terrible. I've gone through 3 tanks since Friday. [eek] But I knew that going in. The focus behind me is lildisco's. He's a mod on here. He was kid enough to swing down to my place and take me out to the dealership so I didn't have to leave the ST there.

Djmike2485: the passenger cabing is quite quiet at freeway speeds, and the rotary purrs like a happy kitten all the way through the rpm range. The focus cabin is definately louder then this car. The ride is great, I've caught myself going faster then I should have just because it doesn't feel like you are going that fast.

Hotness. Those cars are CRAZY when it comes to handling.

 

...and yet in Forza Motorsports 2 on the Xbox360, it handles like poo. Odd. Congrats on the new car!

nice pick up my buddy had an 04 black one and boy are they fun and quick cars. it was fun doing donuts ha when through 4 tires like thay were cheap when he fiirst got it

Yes I stilll have the ST and the ZX3, I could never get rid of them [] Plus I've sunk wayyyyy too much money into both to even think of selling them [hihi]

Thanks for the compliments on the car, she really does handle like a dream, and is quite forgiving to boot. Bodyroll is practically non existant even for a "stock" suspension.

Everything on the car is as it was from the factory, so no mods as of yet. I have a friend who has connections with Mazdaspeed Motorsports and SpeedSource, so we are already racking out brains on things to add.

Once we get a nice day that isn't overcast I'll be sure to post up some pics of her in direct sunlight. [thumb]

I'll have to snap some engine bay shots later, I don't have any right now. And yes, the engine is very quiet, unless you are reving the piss out of it. [deviltail]
