I'd like to compile a list of VIN sticker color codes with their corresponding color names. If you know the name of the color and the code post it in and I'll edit this post as needed.

My interior color code is "EW" but I'm not entirely sure of the codes color name yet so here's the modest beginning of the list:

US Spec Interior Color Codes:
EW - Charcoal Black Cloth (S)
LW - Red Accent Leather
2W - Charcoal Black Torino Leather (H-L) - (Titanium)

Euro Spec Interior Colors from Trevor Porter at FordPartsUK:

AE
Pur/Lux / Charcoal Black

AE
Pur/Luxury Soft Charcoal, Charcoal Black

AD
Pur/Torino Leather / Soft Charcoal, Charcoal Black

Alcantara / Leather
ST Cover-Blk/Grey Leather-Alcantara

AB
Rack/Gecko / Medium Lt Stone(B-C)

AG
Pur/Torino Leather / Soft Charcoal, Charcoal Black

AA, AC, Rack/Gecko Charcoal Black (B-C), Charcoal Black

Leather Trim
Windsor Leather / Brown, Charcoal Black

Leather Trim, L-Windsor Leather / Charcoal Black

I believe this code is also used with the 201A option package on the SE (I have this combination).

Mine has black leather. (It's the cheapest leather I've ever seen in a car.) I'm partially convinced it's actually "Pleather". Has anybody swapped Fusion seats into a Focus? Is that leather any nicer? I actually would like a power pass seat also.

Trying to get some info here, I really need help finding out what color my factory A-pillar trim is. It's the grey shade with a black cloth interior found on the basic 2013 Focus S model. Can anyone tell me what paint to get to match it?

I found this a long time ago and I can't locate the thread I got it from. Somebody said this was a close enough match to Ford's:

Otherwise, I may just paint it flat black. Any recommendations on brands of paint? And do I need to coat it with something if it's just an interior part?

Wait, your interior A pillar trim is already the charcoal black?
Or are you trying to make it that color?

I'm trying to paint my GlowShift triple gauge pod overlay which I just received Saturday. It came in a horrible, horrible glossy, textured and sparkly plastic. The first friend I brought over confirmed that it looks cheap. I'm planning on painting it the factory trim color for my EW car, which would be a light grey. My car has black dashboard and cloth seats with the light grey A,B,C pillars and light grey cloth rooftop.

I think there are some people here who've made everything black or had it come that way on an ST/Titanium? But I'm only trying to match the grey with paint. If I can't get anything close enough I'll just paint it flat black.

That's a the medium light stone color, sir. If you want to change your interior A and B pillars out I would suggest getting the ST ones and then find the Ford interior color spray paint in ebony black, I believe it is, which is the ST interior trim color.

Can you post some pictures?

Let me do some digging to see if I can help. I don't have a color chart, I've just done a lot of digging in the past for interior color codes to try and gather up the information.

I know that that light cream color goes with the medium light stone color scheme, I don't know what color it is specifically. I can find part numbers and such to go with it.

I think your best bet, even though it might be a bit more on the pricey side, would be to swap out your A and B pillars for the ST ebony black pillars and paint match your gauge pod pillar to that.

You might also try giving the dealership this part number and asking them what color it is specifically. But like many dealerships they might still be useless about anything aftermarket.

I'm the mean time I've got a couple feelers out to see if anyone with one of these sitting on a shelf can look at them. I don't have my original ones anymore and I didn't think to look at them before I chucked them to see if they had a color identifier on them. We'll see what comes up!

Thank you! You put out a lot of meaty details in that post... I have to chew it down but basically- do you think if I take it off there may be a color identifier on them? I can do that when I test it out. Now, that's an awesome website to have knowing that I can order another OEM panel if I mess this up. Especially the clips! Any detailed advice on taking it off without breaking those clips? I've seen several photos an diagrams but its still not making much sense to me.

Okay here's another thought, what about wrapping it? Can I wrap the gauge pod (Or is the shape too complex to do with 1 sheet of wrap?) and wrap the right side pillar? Any thoughts on the durability or wrap on these plastic panels during the hot and cold days?

It looks like I'll have to pick my preference- black black or grey black or grey grey. Calling my dealership the other day didn't help. Maybe I'll try another dealership and provide them the part code# you just helped me find.
