Well, i just got the 350 dollar Viper alarm that i had to buy acuators for, cause it gave me power locks/remote unlock from my manual locks. So they are prolly a decent penny?

Oh and for future reference, if you get remote start on your MANUAL car... dont park in first gear lol. Luckily i was 2 inches from the wall where i work and the car tapped the wall lol.

 

Good and bad news.

I got it installed and its working great, but no pictures.
I've installed power door locks before and this is was a little more difficult because the focus uses cable locks instead of rods. The whole install took me 5 hours (by myself). If anyone else plans to tackle this project please PM if you have any install questions. I'm writing up some instructions and I'll post them later.

 

any updates on the instructions? i would really like to know how to do this...

yeah im interested...got any ideas on how to change from manual windows? those things are annoying as hell! i want power windows! lol

 

any kind of update on this? iv'e been looking at this kit for a few months, but have been unable to find any post install opinions on this, focus or matrix like the site advertises its for... anyways, let me know, i've got the wires for my drivers door already ran from my alarm brain, just need to do the other... any pics or tips available, i'd at least like to see them in email, if not on the site...

just to let you know, i've called a1electric already, they really couldn't give me answers, i asked if it didn't work, could i return it, they said if it said it would work it will, and if i wasn't comfortable doing this, i should have someone else do it. i have heard that this kit works fine...
