well lets see...... cold it takes about 1 1/2 seconds no less ! Otherwise I get a intake backfire and then it takes like 3 seconds of cranking and it will start then.....

When it's hot 1/2 second sometimes I can bump the starter real quick and it fires up []

 

my 2000 zx3 takes about 4-7 seconds- yeah i know something is wrong.... my 2001 zx3 about a half second and our 2005 zx3( yes I know its not a zetec) takes about a half a second

 

like a quarter of a secone not time at all

 

Generally no more than a second. If it's cold, maybe 2-3.

I don't know. Never timed it.

 

i dont know exactly how long mine takes, but it doesnt just bust right off like other vehicles ive drove. i guess ill have to get behind the wheel of another focus to compare...

 

About 1-2 seconds when cold and when warm maybe 1/4second.

 

Normally about 4-5 turnovers before it cranks...which is like 3/4 of a sec. []
