I think the subject speaks for itself. What are some tips? I've tried soaking the cotton balls in oils and sticking them under the seats. Anybody put anything in the vents??
LOL...funny. But yeah, that fabric sheets is a good idea, I've tried this too and it works well.b16sir1991 said:I just simply dont fart in mine, lol just kidding, try this: i have found that keeping a few dryer fabric softning sheets under the seats does really well. Like Bounce, Snuggles, Tide, that kind of thing.

The stuff is probably not good for you.Sting2324 said:The new car scent is actually a product...A few years back I was working with an electrical company, and we had to do a Mercedes dealership in Danbury, CT. On the detailing side of the garage I noticed a big 55-gallon white plastic drum full of bluish/purple liquid. On the side of the barrel were some spray bottles and one was labeled, New Car Scent. Upon talking with the detailer, he said that smells exactly like a new car should. I didn't believe him so I sprayed some to get a smell for it..and it smelled EXACTLY like a new car. The detailer was nice enough to let me 'borrow' some and it worked great in my previous car and the workvan. Was constantly getting compliments and people being shocked when the get in a 82 Bonneville and it smells like a brand new car. This stuff is out there...if only I can get the name of it...

I heard that the real "new car smell" is from all the plastic and adhisives drying. Inhaleing all those chemicals can cause cancer. I am sure the artifical 'new car smell has been FDA approved or something.Sting2324 said:The new car scent is actually a product...A few years back I was working with an electrical company, and we had to do a Mercedes dealership in Danbury, CT.
