HKS looks cool IMO...... The borla Sounds Better IMO... both give you about the same power... Not very much.... The SVT has an aweosme system already.. Just lacks in sound.. kinda

^^^ What he said. A catback on an SVT is allready really good performance wise. So it's all up to you on how you want your exhaust to look and sound. The HKS a.k.a fartcan lol has a very deep tone and isn't that loud. The Borla is a milder look exhaust with just a tip coming out the end and is a bit louder but still has a very nice non raspy tone. It all comes down to what you want (look, price, company, etc...). I personally am a very big fan of the HKS and my friend has one on his SVT.

Since neither will net you any appreciable hp/tq gain compared to stock, and considering you are going from a 2.28 (stock) to a 2.5 system, you might as well base the choice off of looks/sound alone. So, whatever floats your boat.

HKS is amazing. the sound is great and from what i can tell performance is amazing. but the stock cat back is fine.

Borla and invest in an RT HFC for deep sound and noticable hp/tg, and a lil throttle response

By any chance do any of you guys have a sound clip i can get of either? i've been thinking of an exhaust for mine, and its actually a harder decision than i thought it would be.

I have to vote NEITHER.....

Both are WAY over priced for what you get.....

I forgot what was the company that is based here in miami that does custom exhaust for the focus ahhhh someone remind me.

Ok just remembered how about truebendz i hear they make good stuff and the pricing is good 2

id say go to your local reputable exhaust shop and get a custom exhaust.. your not going to get much gains, only gains i can think of would be because the svt exhaust is so bulky and with the custom youd be shedding a couple of pounds by switching to the aluminum piping, and its hella cheaper. im getting my full exhaust put on and made for 300
