well that was my concern.... but if you install the maf backwards it won't run at all,
it will start and then sputter out..... I would take it to autozone and scan it if everything is fine.....

well, you can do the battery trick..... disconnect the negative battery cable and have something hold down the brake pedal (a stick weged between the seat and pedal works great) and wait for 2 hours, this should do the trick......
