first of all that isn't the same focus they dynod last time..that was Fernando's car you guys are talking about..this is my friends car in south florida..and I will post a couple of pictures I have

second...I got a ride in the car and it gets full spools at 4,000-4,500rpm

 

After doing a little looking those are different dynos, my bad.

Thats still a long spool time... I tried the 3076 once and I believe if you just had to have a bigger turbo the 3071 would have made the same power up top but would have spooled soon and gave it more grunt in the lower rpms.

But regaurdless those are still impressive numbers....

so what octane 100 or something higher??

 

this is my car you will have proof soon.. i trust my tuner. and the car runs incredible. the car in the st spools real fast

 

OBTW.. with the smoothing set at 5 your still really "shakey" from 5k rpms up.... you may want to have them look at that again.... it should be a very smooth line.

 

Have to agree , what ever it is may have something to do with why at 28/29psi its only at 447HP

I see that you're running a fuel return system. What fuel pump and cell are you running?

 

Hope it last longer then when fernando tuned mine but still congrats on the numbers but 28psi wonder what your iat's are on a forth gear pull

 

I'd like to know how you like that clutchmasters twin disc clutch. Is it really stiff, smooth, hard to drive? Whats the overall feel on it. I don't know if my hypertech single is going to hold out and if it doesn't I was looking at that setup.

tom i have one question for you, how much psi does the blue focus have that made 413 hp ?

i belive it was at 21psi . now correct me if i'm wrong , you have a 15% loss of power to the wheels , so the car has about 351 whp . my car has only 7psi more and each psi is about 10 whp. so if you add to that car 70whp to 351whp it gives you 421whp at 28psi and i made 446whp!

I do like the flatness of the power "curve" up top (I have no comment on the smoothness)!

 

You cant really do an even compairison with those 2 turbo's even APT Turbo one of the countries largest garrett dealers will NOT recommend the GT3076R for any 4 cylinder app... they alway recommend the 3071r which makes about the same power but has a far superior spool.

 

I got a ride personally in that car...I almost SHI*$# on my self! lol

Well no shit... you can have a ginormous turbo on it and it'll spool fast in first from a roll.

Nothing has to be made

 

No mods to the head at all? That's why it's so down on power. You could make that power with much better response and a smaller turbo with a decent head on it.
