Hey guys. I have an 01 zx3 and I'd like to do an open upper grille Like in the pic, best way I know of to describe it. But by doing that, ill eliminate my turn signals and we can't have that. I'd been trying to figure out a way to get around this, but don't have many ideas. I saw this bumper today, and realized I could get this and fix my problem, plus I look it's design. It appears to be a standard zx3 front bumper, with a lip, but the turn signals tell me it's not a simple oem bumper. I thought maybe it was the euro front, but I don't recall liking it. You guys know what bumper this is?

The bumper is a Euro style grill and bumper as has been said. They way most of us get around the signal problem when getting a Euro grill is to use Mach headlight or a variety of aftermarket headlights that incorporate the signals into the headlights.

Here's where the Mach headlights (and most others) put the signals.

That website is only selling the lip. Like others have said, that's the 1998 Euro bumper with a Rieger lip. There are various solutions to the turn signal problem. Here is how I fixed my turn signal problem:

People usually end up getting lights with turns such as machs, ST70's, or mach-a-likes. If you can't afford new lights, there are people who have stuck the turn signals in pill bottles and attached those behind the grille. If you like the above bumper setup, get ready to scour ebay.uk and the forums for everything you need. It took me about 4 months to get every euro part needed for the front bumper and parts were not cheap at all.

That's just a matter of simple wiring. You'll just need to extend the wires to the lights. Then it's just a matter of what lights you get. If you get the eBay lights it would be as simple as splicing into the wires for the turns. If you go with OEM Machs or similar, you'll need to wire them to a VW plug that you'll need for the lights. Either way, it's just simple wiring
