What kind of rims and tires do you have on it?

 

I'll Be keeping the stock tires until they run out, I ordered these rims at Discount tire literally 20 minutes after driving off the lot:

be careful on those Drag wheels... they bend easy!

 

They have a lifetime structural warranty from discount tire...so we'll see how it goes!

I would also like yellow fogs, but the heat thing worries me... especially when the link above has the quote "We also suggest turning you fog lights off while you vehicle is stationary stuck in stop and go traffic for example."

Perhaps yellow/orange bulbs of same wattage as original would be better, though I don't know where you get them.

 

I had the yellow fog "tint" on my explorer for about 3 years and it still looked great when I sold it a few days ago. That headlight armor company really sells a good product

The rims arrived in 2 days! Here they are, im pretty damn stoked with the look it has now. What do you guys/gals think?

man where is the LOL emoticon when you need it? I am going to assume you missed that he lives in the Peoples Republick of Kalifornia, one of the most mod unfriendly states on the planet.

That is not to say you're not right however, blacked out would look awesome especially with 20% tint all the way around.

 

I'm just going off my experience in the place I've lived my whole life. My Explorer didn't have a front plate the 8 years I owned it and never got crap about it, even the times I got pulled over for traffic violations.

On another note, Does anyone know how I can change the name of this thread? I just want to put "update" in the title

Sometimes I think the all black approach is too unoriginal, but then my eyes find it irresistible! You going to smoke the lights too? I think it looks great as is, but it's almost crying out for some Ti headlights.

 

Thanks, I'm planning on adding the lightest tint film from laminex on the front, and probably the back. Im gunna wait for projector headlights to hit the market. More than likely the ST version

I'm not a fan of how the black mutes out my favorite part of the car (the grill) but that ride looks so awesome. It's too bad you've fallen victim to the SE Chrome curse. Hopefully you can find some blacked out parts for that.

Damn, it's beautiful. The fender flairs and lowering looks perfect. How do you like it? Looking at the mods you did to black out everything, how do you feel about the paint, wheels and clear glass?

the interior, the wheels, and the blue on blue on blue up front...

the fender flares are nice, lowered perfectly, paint is also a really really nice blue.

but that's just me.. im kind of against DUB-ing anything though. too show and no go

 

whats with DUB really. It's supposed to be high end right? well upper end. And all dub vehicles have POS xplods in em wtf lol.

The wheels will take a ~8s 0-60 and make it 11ish lol

Flares are cool and the color is epic though
