Recently bought a 2014 Ford focus s 2.0 with dps6. Car had issues with transmission. Got her home, dropped tranny, removed clutch and found the slave cylinder was seized (ball bearing grease was dried up and part was basically coming apart.) Changed the slave cylinder, and had to change the forks after spraying them down with brake fluid and contaminating the slides. I posted a video of the noise that the clutch is making. Here's where it gets weird. So before I removed the clutch, I spun it and it made a similar sound. After making replacing items mentioned above, I reset the clutch and reinstalled it. I released the actuators by turning them 14 times counter clockwise and when I spun it then it sounded fine. but I later found out that I released clutch actuators in opposite order. So next morning I removed clutch, reset it again, and released clutch actuators in correct order. Now when I spin it it's making this croaking noise. Is it normal? Do I need to fix something? This is my first one of these so I'm a little unsure here. Any advice is helpful. Also, the noise in the video is amplified x10. In person the noise is much more subtle. Thank you.
