if adjusting the fender is at all possible do that first... i just recently had to adjust my fender because it was rubbing... sry to hear its happening to someone else too

 

The answer is yes.to adjust it that way.You need to do it at the part of the hinge on the a pillar,not the door.

 

could you clarify what you mean? I think you meant to tell me to adjust the door hinge closest to the a-pillar? There are two hinges that are at the top and bottom of the door and there is also one additional hinge in the middle. I am guessing you are suggesting to adjust the top hinge? Or did you mean to adjust the fender by loosening the bolt by the a-pillar?

i'd take it back to the shop and let them deal with it.

 

Thats just a mess and a half to start doing all of that. Now when you adjust your door back it will have trouble shutting and opening porperly. I would let the shop know or see if you can get a few mm of adjustment in the fender without throwing stuff off.

 

If you have to do it yourself, adjust the fender first. There isn't much adjustment in the doors unless you want to ream the hinge holes out. You can move the door back a little, but it will probably make your door to quarter/ door gap to close.
