Yeah I like the K.I.S.S. approach. But I've got tons of time and nothing to do but watch my son so I think I'll go full detailed. Alot of people don't have the mechanical aptitude as we'd all like to assume. So to keep it safe I'll go detailed. By the way first page is done. This wil be quite huge with pics included. Anyone host or no where I can so I can just post the link in here when I'm done. Then a mod can make it sticky if it doesn't make it to the how-to library.

Definately a how to on the guage color change, looks sharp. The HVAC and radio colors are a little extreme.

No, for purple gauges you have to customize the gauge itself. The SVT gauges are lit by a huge indiglo screen behind them. There is translucent paint onthe factory gauges that make them green. I'll do a how to on that as well

dang, cant wait for this. i think it'd be tight with red gauges. go with the whole black/red theme from the stock svt interior. is the how-to gonna show how to do the a/c lights and stuff too?

Okay if you have an SVT and would like to know how exactly do to the Gauges. Leave a message here requesting so. I'm not entirely done refining the technique but when it's all said and done I think I'm going with Red and Black Reverse Glow (letters and numbers light up).
