You won't unless the customer goes to visit his relatives...ahahah

I think its a cali car but the owner doesnt/cant have it registerd in cali.
yup

so it's rwd as well right? looks to be so from the pics. still must be tough to plant that tq
Yes it is but the Griggs racing TQ arm helps ALOT

You could never register that out here in CA, damn smog techs would be lost as soon as you opened the hood.

But that's an awesome set up, and sleeper. Other than the radiator mod and probably the exhaust note, you would fool a ton of people.

But my one concern is, was this swap economical for the RWD advantage? How many turbo'd foci are putting down those same numbers, with a lower build budget?

PS, i'm not trying to be a hater, just thinking dollars and cents here.
Actually you can register it in CA. I have a friend who has a 5.0 in a CRX and it is registered and smogged like a regular car. You just have to go to a special referee BUT it takes ALOT of work to get it done

whats all the wires in trunk for??

where do u go if you have a cobra engine and want to do a swap??
The wires are to connect the Cobra computer to the engine and the rest of the Focus
We can do it for you :)

That should be the prototype for the next SVT...
Yes it should

yea, i was gonnna say it looks like its a custom or after market wiring harness. i know the o1 cobras can make some danmed impressive number. i'm gonna assume that its stock motor? the o1's from what i have heard is basicaly the same motor as the o3-o4 terminators, just no blower. witch if thats true then he has a huge amount of room to upgrade.
The 99-01 Cobra engine is 10:1 Compression where as the 03-04 is much lower than that. BUT the 99-01 with a blower can get 450RWHP EASY!

I would think the price difference would be choice enough. If I'm not mistaking those are LM's which generally retail for around $1100 each, rather than the $150 or so for EAP's. I don' think those are available in our bolt pattern either. Lame. That being said, I think the wheels are a bit much on that car but I wouldn't complain if someone handed me the keys [8D]

^^That is true but having a 300hp motor in a 2700lb car is plenty for me. I can get my car that weighs about 4000+ with me in it with the same 4.6 but auto trany get on average 25mpg and 33 on highway. It would be faster than my car and it would get better mileage.
