car wouldn't start

Okay so last night i was leaving my friends house and i got in my car and tried to start it and nothing happend......so i let it sit for like 15min and called my dad and he was gonna come help me out, but when we tried to start it, it was fine, and it started okay this morning too....any ideas as to why it would do that???

its an 04, with 9000miles on it.....and yes the clutch was down the whole way when i tried to start it.....

Did it do anything the first time?
If it didn't, maybe the switch on the clutch is loose or defective.

it was clicking, it wouldn't turn over....

could it be my starter, if there was a blank spot on it, it would do that wouldn't it?

I'd check the battery before I checked the starter. Most auto parts stores will check it free!

sounds like a bad fuel pump to me! but just a guess! but your is a 04, pump should be ok, but still, ask ford for a check!

I agree with DidHeFocus, check the battery first before moving on to the starter...it wouldn't be the fuel pump because the starter would crank regardless.

nope no system, im thinking its the sensor on the clutch......

My car did this before too. for me it was the battery terminals were corroded on the inside. my lights would work, i'd turn the key and everything would quit.
