Today when I was installing my lip kit, I decided that I'd also go ahead and paint the brake drums and brake calipers since I'd be having my wheels off. I was able to do my drums alright, but when I went to try and remove the calipers, I didn't have the correct Allen Wrench size . . .
There are two rubber inserts that each contain one Allen Wrench-style bolt. I tried to use a size 6mm and that was too loose (it moved freely), so I tried the "next" biggest size I had which happened to be a size 8mm and that was too big. So I went to ACE Hardware to pick up a size 7mm and they didn't have it!
So for those of you who have removed your calipers, what size Allen Wrench does it take to remove those two bolts? Is it the size 7mm (does it exist?) or do I need to use a Standard wrench size? Thanks in advance.
Cheers!
