Thats so sick!! If I had a 2012 I would choose this car right here. If you lowered it it would be 100% perfection. Looks awesome though dude.

 

I'm thinking about it, the wheels are 18" so if it was lowered an inch the wheels would fit/look better.

Painted the calipers red to match reflectors. Kinda wanted to leave the reflectors for some safety, lol.

I think I may lightly tint them along with a light tint on the side mirror turn signals.

 

Not a fan of those wheels but the rest of it is bad ass.

beast mode. now just a solid 2 inch or more drop to just hang out right above the wheels and it'll look ridiculous!

Niteshade turn signals in mirror and reflectors in bumper. Black out headlights and fog bezels. IMO I would have blacked out the stock wheels. Good start!

The headlights will be on order soon. I'm not going to tint the headlights, but I'll get the black bezel titanium versions.

 

Does MI allow tinted license plate covers? Your plate sticks out a little bit by itself like that...

Looks good, not a fan of the wheels but the rest looks good. I like sixshooter's suggestion of blacking out the stock wheels.

I tried getting three different black wheels prior to the Helos but to no avail.

I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find 5-108 front wheel drive wheel! Very frustrating experience.

Eh, I think the wheels look cheap

they sort of look like steel wheels to me, not much going on. they just dont flow with the look of the car. Of course you know, just our opinions and hopefully you are happy with them. Never gonna please everyone [B)]

That's alot of black. I personally would never get a black car again becasue I got hot so many times when I had one. People just can't see black cars. Good luck though.

 

In the end its your car, if you like the look its all good! I think people feel a different looking wheel would set the car off better.

This bolt pattern is terrible for aftermarket wheels(with what I was looking for).

My opinion but...

if you kept the original wheels I think it would have looked better with THOSE blacked out and then a drop to complete it all and you would be done. Great job though. looks sweet!

 

^This. I guess I don't like the wheels cause they look too 'open' for me. I'm a fan of multispoke wheels.

 

Thats sick bro that reminds me when I first got my 2011 focus and started blacking it out... then I got dragged into the black/red theme and never left it.

P.S. I would put some gloss on the ford emblems and I would do another layer of VHT nite shade on the tail lights if thats what you used. Rims looks sick too!

heres how mine looked when I had it blacked out

heres how it looks now (you cant really notice it on the pic but my emblem is black and red now to match my rims and I have a different license plate with a black/red miami heat cover).

 

I used automotive gloss black paint mixed with clear. Next is to wet sand them & spray just clear on them. Won't go any darker on them. Law is visibility at 500 feet and it looks great now. I didn't trust the spray can tint so I made my own(I'm sure the VHT is fine but not for my standards).

I'll probably get a black plate frame with black scews.

Tint the side mirror turn signals, and reflectors in the back. Paint & clear coat fog light bezels. Order titanium black head lights. I think I'm going to keep the red calipers but may ultimately decide on black once I get done with everything else.

Yeah I ended up buying a new cover for my license plate which looks a lot better. I didn't buy a tint cover because I've grown out of that phase and I rather keep it classy but still looking good.
