so i contacted him and we set the meet-up..
He told me that the day of the pickup would be at his work (pepboys) and that upper management would be there so he wouldn't have much time. So I agreed. I went to pick them up and after a 2 hour drive i was at his work. He showed me the wheels, two were scratched but it didn't matter because i was going to paint them anyway and they were of course used and the other two were already covered and wrapped and he said "sorry about these two they were gonna get shipped out" so seeing as how he had little to no time and i didn't want to get him in trouble at work so he put the wheels in my car and i gave him 100$. He quickly ran back to work. After a 2 hour drive back home i got the wheels out and opened the other 2.. they are bent and i mean bent. I quickly texted him and told about the issue and first he said that "the wheels were in good condition to my knowledge" and then "they weren't bent when i wrapped them", then to "I got those wheels from (FF member)and i didn't know they were bent, how am i supposed to know" and finally to "sorry there's nothing i can do"... I tried to resolve and the only way to get his attention was to put him on the spot on his meet threads. After he told me he wasn't going to do anything about it and i flamed him he said that he was waiting on money from selling something else to pay me back..? really? how hard would it have been to say "okay well if you drive back i can give your money back" ??? not very hard at all. We could have fixed that ASAP. Then his buddies were chimming in and saying how great of a seller he was and so on. If the Valley people are going to ignore how shady this guy is then I hope the rest of you won't. It would suck very bad if someone else had gotten these wheels shipped and had no way of contacting him...
Putting it out there, be very cautions of this guy and what he's selling.
