Since I have made a trip to my folks place and my dad's friend has a car hoist, I want to replace the front and rear brakes in my 2001 Focus Wagon. Here is all I am replacing (some parts are more preventative than required immediately)
Anything else that I should replace while I am at it? The car just turned 195,000kms, and most equipment is original outside of pads, shoes, and maybe rotors and drums. I haven't bit into this new of a vehicle before so I am unsure if there are any parts that are new/not in a rear wheel drive vehicle.
Front:
Replace pads, rotors, calipers, brake lines, and front hub assembly (I am assuming this assembly includes the bearings)
Rear:
Replace shoes, drums, cylinders, hardware and brake lines. (any bearings in the rear?)
We are also going to flush the brake fluid.
Thanks for the help,
Bob
