I have a used AEM SRI that is getting a bit dirty. I have used plenty of K&N filters in the past so have cleaning supplies for them but I know if you over oil them they can make the MAF pretty unhappy. The filter is a bit bent anyway so i figured I may as well look into a new one.

Dosnt AEM have a dry flow filter out now? Anybody have a part number or place I can order it at (any vendors/ebay??) Also does the ITG filter fit on there? I am now a big fan of foam filters as they clean a bit better than paper and IMO are easier to clean.

any input is welcome!

I dont oil my K&N... just for the fact that the oil can get on the MAF and cause it to read wrong.

I do clean it every few thousand miles... just dont oil it.

I have an Accel cool blue filter, came with my HIA SR, and so far I'm really happy with it.

Hmmm I am noticing now that it is getting warmer (we hit just over 80 for a couple days!) that it seems I can feel the power difference with heatsoak (almost a flat power feeling). I am now wondering if i should just sell the SRI and put a K&N flat panel in stock airbox? hmmm might be the best route...

Same here. I'm going to put my stock box back in. On really hot days, I can really feel it.
