Accelerator issue after throttle body cleaning

Is it possible an old TPS could go bad if the butterfly is wide open several times in the TB during cleaning? Pushing it into a region normally not operating in?

Also, showing about 13% throttle with foot off pedal and reading from ODB.

There is no idle relearn done on these other than the first 15 minutes of idling resets everything without you lifting a finger.

The tighter one bends the cable the more drag it will have inside. Seek to straighten as much as you can and it doesn't have to be like OEM at all.

I didn't think there was a tricky idle relearn procedure to carry out...
