Hi all. Recently, the AC in my 2005 ST (2.3) just abruptly stopped working. The compressor doesn't engage at all. All of the AC components appear to be in good shape, and the car only has 80,000 miles on it, so I doubt any of the major components are bad. I don't believe the refrigerant leaked out (no way to check it), as it worked one drive and didn't at all the next. Fuse and switches are good.
I went to the parts store to get a relay to check if that was causing it, and there is a 'compressor control relay' and a 'compressor clutch relay' listed. Upon closer inspection, the compressor clutch relay is not the culprit, as I swapped it with the working fog light relay (same part number) and no change. My owner's manual shows only the compressor clutch relay location, is there a compressor control relay, and if so, where? Thanks in advance.
