About to start rebuilt motor for the first time and had questions

#1 shouldn't matter either way, just flows through, #2 looks proper.

Spin that thing over with plugs out/ign. coil unhooked to get oil pressure & flow to everywhere before first fire up. It can take much longer for that after a rebuild than an oil change.
