CFM recently did a run of their 67mm TBs again for folks. Best/only option is going to be searching the used markets for one.

Porting your stock one gets you 75% of the way there.

The hesitation may not be the TB, if you are ramping that much throttle in. Porting the stock TB, or a 67mm TB don't add any more power, they just help throttle response.

Are you tuned at all? If not, it's probably the stock calibration doing that.

 

Again not necessarily trying to gain HP. I just got the car a few ago I don't think its tuned. Throttle response improvement sounds what I'm seeking

 

If you do some reading about Toms Tune I can help your SVT a good bit with my Custom Tune , the SVT is lacking in throttle response for sure was one of the main complaints when the SVT came out , Focus-Power.com
