Its hard with his medical issues , work and not having a dyno close for the member with the full kit to get to a dyno so I am offering 10 Turbo kits for 3980.00
This will be the full MK3 kit , SCT XCAL4 Flasher , Full Custom Tune 3980.00

If you already have a SCT XCAL4 deduct 250.00 total of 3730.00

The First MK3 Full kit has been running for a year now no issues and there both DCT

I am well aware there are no dynos ,If your not going to buy a Full Turbo kit please dont muck this thread up so people have to read through dozens of pages for the ones that might be interested in a Full Turbo kit

After these 10 are sold the Full Turbo kit will go up to 4420.00 + shipping and paypal

This kit is built and shipped from Taiwan but is made with quality parts , I wouldnt be selling these through my business if I didnt feel they were good kits and I have built a lot of Turbo kits and tuned a lot and this will make MK3 Owners a great reliable Turbo kit

This MK3 Full Turbo Kit is for the DCT and 5sp

This is + shipping , Shipping has been Avg 240-270.00 and if you pay with paypal add 3% so right now its like getting free shipping and no paypal fee

2 Kits are already sold

Tom, how do we pay you non paypal? Do you accept debit/credit cards in another fashion? I don't see the kit on your site for purchase through the cart either.

Pesos , Dollars , Check , MO , Bank Check LOL I stopped taking CC and DC 10 year ago because fees were costing me 1 turbo kit a year , Now I use paypal and add 3%

I have no problem taking a check just allow it to clear

Tom

Careful, Tom. I'm not too far from Messico. I could always visit the exchange at the airport and send you a fist full of pesos. :)

Any word on a release date for the DIY kit with larger spec turbos?

You do understand to use the full potential of the MK3 DIY that it will require a built engine and more then likely will run into fueling issues over 400hp

Tom
Shore do. I don't mind wrench time when junkyard motors are only $500 a pop.

I'm not looking for 400hp currently, but a respectable 300whp with headroom pending modifications is where I want to be. Buy it once, buy it for where you want to end up. That's the modification motto, right?

Very good news, Tom what about LSPI (Low-speed pre-ignition), what are your thoughts on this risk and trying to prevent this on a MK3? I'm very interested but think I will want more time to see how the DCT handles boost in the long run.

Good question , This is for sure a concern , I do a good bit of ST tuning I just dont advertise tuning the ST
I am dealing with the LSPI in a few ways
1) Cam adjustment , by changing the cam settings you can change the Cyl psi which is part of the cause of LSPI
2) How the knock sensor adds , removes , sensitivity settings etc helps a lot
3) How you set up the timing in the 16 timing tables which is directly related to cam positioning (see#1)
4) How I set the target fueling at high load low RPM

With all of these working together I can feel safe in saying I dont see any more LSPI in the ST or the MK3 That I am tuning

Tom, would your tuning for the turbo kit require actual dyno time or would you just need datalog?

Datalogs and prepare to do a lot, 10 to 20 or more to get things dialed in right.

Yes could take 10 could take 20 or more , I am very picky and want the car to run as good as or better then stock
I know non tuners use that against me and make fun of it but if your on the other end you also want your Focus to run as good as or better then stock

I start with idle and get it right , then we do idle and cruise and then we do idle cruise and WOT ,WOT being Wide Open Throttle

Tom

Tom, with a few minor upgrades, what do you feel like this full kit could stretch its legs to?

I'm thinking keeping most hardparts except a better intercooler, fueling if needed, the like?

The price point you are hitting and the now factor are very hard to resist.

Seems like a good price. I am watching this thread for a hopeful DYNO run. I am saving my money for this. Cheaper than an ST Swap with same potential end result for power output. I hang with a group of ST guys and I'd love my sedan to hang/beat them.
