Attempted plastic dipping the whiskers. Better looking black than chrome. May consider painting them eventually when the dip starts getting chipped up.
Once the dip chips or fades I would suggest wrapping them in black vinyl. Much easier and quicker than dipping or painting. Dip works great but fades in the sun over a year or so, even with the glossifier clear coat. Just make sure you get body wrap vinyl. It is so much better than regular vinyl. Its super stretchy and has tiny holes to release air pockets

Looks so much better!!

I'm considering doing the same to my car. I need to also get that window trim handled.
Ya have silver trim? Hatch or sedan

is that a yellow bulb or an overlay?
Bulb. Picked these up.

Looks good with the ruby red, that's probably my favorite Ford paint color. Also, RWBY fan?
<3 Ruby Red. Not sure what RWBY is? My brain is filled with too many acronyms.

Curious too. My yellow LED H11 came yesterday but wife says I can't have em till fathers day....

See above. :D

I've never been a huge fan of the yellow fogs....they look good on the red though.

I like yellow fogs when done right, but for some reason I just feel like my car looks like Ronald McDonald with the yellow and red -- but at the same time, I kind of like it.

Yeah, I have a titanium hatch with that chrome trim under the Windows.
Door trim and front panel are easy swaps, rear window trim only come with window

It's a show and the main character's name is Ruby Rose. Thought there might be a connection.

Did some restoration on my flakey pealing headlights yesterday. Here were the results. They came out almost perfect I'd say. They were sanded down to where he old clear was gone. P800 sandpaper then 3000 grit wet sanded, compounded, sealed and clear coated 3 layers, dried, then 3000 grit wet sanded, compounded, and then waxed.

looks great, mine are starting starting to show signs of the same thing. May have to restore mine by the end of the year

Not great to hear. I've restored lights before and experience is that they'll need it again in a year.

I want a set of projectors too but not sure I want the hassle.

It's wild to see the Rooster Teeth guys go from Halo: Combat Evolved mp footage with overdubs to random dudes/ladies know about their work.
And hosting their own convention in Austin every year
