Just bought my new focus last week and the first thing I noticed was how loud the turn signals were. Is this normal and is there any way to turn those things down or off ?? Thanx in advance for any advice. tony[8D]

its normal. The only way to tone it down or silence it, is to crack open the switch itself, which I wouldn't do on a new car lol. If you do open it, find the little thingy that makes the noise, and either tape over the hole, or stuff something in it, like a bit of a cotton ball. Or just snip the wires if you'd likke to silence it completely.
] Those are way louder than Focus's.

i never use my turning singals when i'm on the phone, i'm tired of being asked what is that loud ticking noise. you will get used to it i don't even hear it anymore.

anyway......I feel the unique sound of the turn signals is part of the Foci sould....they sound different, and I like it......You do get used to it.....I forget to turn mine off sometimes...[hihi]

Bigger Stereo. Not only does this eliminate the loud cricky-cricky noise but also serves as a useful engine problem masking device. Grinding noise? what grinding noise? Oh, wait I hear it, turn up the Bad Religion, all better....
