^^^exactly[thumb] And Tom ran that run on DRs. If he put slicks on and them through that basically bulletproof tranny, he would have run faster. Not to mention, he drove the car to the track. He says it has good street manners. Prolly because of the stock cams.

frogman, that is what my entire post was about...you dont need 300hp to have a fast fwd car..i get ALL of my power to the ground..so on street races i can pretty much walk gt's and srt-4s who just sit there and spin with their 300hp [:D]

But where is the fun in winning when you know they're spinning ?[thumb]

change the gear ratio if you want to. But don't build to much power, or you will spend more time on the rev limiter in the lower gears.

i know, i know, but i am %90 show. i am about to go from 18's to 19's. i will have (another) killer system, brolly 6-8 15's and an airbag setup. i have TONS of aftermarket performance parts (well not as many as some) but am WELL aware that i will still be slow in the end.

I ran 15.4 with a street header and gutted cat, along with my bolt ons, no tb, cams, or gears. With my race header, new exhaust, new chip, and the 00 manifold I got I should be able to hit 14's. Gotta love th 00 zx3 only 2450 lbs.
