Alright I got pulled over cause my tinted tails are a little too dark and he said he couldn't tell if my tails were on or not...So is there anything brither than the stock rear bulb? Like an LED bulb or something?

There are also halogen bulbs available in some styles. I used to sell them at my bike shop. They are about 10 bucks each or so. If they are 1156 or 1157 you can get them.

I bought a 50W halogen bulb for the turn signal, and honestly... didn't see much difference from the stock P21W bulb. They are a little brighter though, but the visible temperature is the same as of usual incandescent bulbs.

Besides, 1156 won't fit the original Foci lights. They need to be 3157, but as far as I know, halogen bulbs don't come in wedge base. At least, even if they do exist, I couldn't find them anywhere.

I think that Viney meant 3156 and 3157. The 3156 application is for the reverse light (in some cases depending on the tail light assembly), but from my experience the 3157 application seems to work and fit into the 3156 sockets.

Cheers!

But then 3157 has the same 27 Watts as the 3156. From his original post, it seemed that he was asking about a brighter bulb. The problem with the wedge base is that there is a few aftermarket products for this type of base. On the other hand, there is a variety of different bulbs designed for bayonett sockets. I myself just purchased a set of 20W xenon bayonett bulbs for my indicators (yeah, still trying to get more yellowish colour)
