Sure, it looks nice, but how much do you think all of that custom fabrication cost? Wouldn't it make more sense to throw that money at a mod that would yield actual results instead of just making the car look better? This is nothing more than a high-class ricer mod...doesn't change performance at all, but it doesn't look like shit either.
 
did you have to jump off a building b4 gravity was prooved to you? it CANNOT give you more power it isnt opening the flow at all if anything its restricting, im FF member #5 and your FF #303270, which means weve probably been through this crap 303270 times b4.......
 
it may be offtopic but what about placing the exits before rear wheels at both sides?? if you have played NFS Most Wanted, you can understand better what i am trying to say... on the cover of the game the BMW with side exaust exits...

will it be possible on a 3door focus??

Im sure its possible if your a good fabricator but IMHO they would look ugly as hell. Plus they would be duals and rob you of horse power. So in short I wouldn't recomend it.

If you want to try this for yourself you can do it in about 10 minutes with a hacksaw. Go out to your car and cut the exhaust pipe off right where it comes across the rear axle, then drive it and see if you notice any difference. That's all putting a Y in does...pretty much the same effect as chopping off the last 12" of pipe. In other words...absolutely nothing.
 
you know me all too well haha, anyone still wanting duals could do a search and youd probably find dozens of threads just like this one....

I went to the muffler shop and got the stupid a$$ 14 in magnflow resinator replaced with a 30 in. It sounds much better and pulls just a little better in the mid range. The lay out if you are interested is very simmilar to the first picture on page two. The y is in front of the axle where the stock muffler goes and the resinator up even futher. Then I got it smoged so I could put the volant on. Seems like a good design but I cant feal a difference. On my honda the CAI was very noticable. Should I reset the computer after these changes?
