So glad I saw this thread. As soon as I saw one for an ST I got excited thinking there would be a blank one. Obviously not so I considered buying one and getting the ST off somehow...

Anyways I'd like a blank one but not sure on color.

Though sarcastic, you actually do speak some truth. Techs notice when people know their cars, and when an engine bay looks clean and dressed-up, it says something.

Those people are less likely to be taken advantage of than the one who's engine is covered in filth - a signal they've never opened the hood themselves.

I think it would be easier to keep it aluminum or black, so that it goes with everyone's color. My $.02.

My color preference would be either white blank. Plan aluminum look. Black polished,

My top color is White Polished, blank

Just my preference though. Happy with a blank alluminum one.
