EDIT: I am also going to be trying to use my Surface Pro2 with windows 10. The unfortunate part is I am heading on vacation in the next day or two so I won't be able to try this until I get back.

I use my Surface pro 3 with win10 and the app works fine!

I noticed that in Your dashboards are present 2 TRIP SCREENS.... In European Focus MK3 we have only 1 TRIP SCREEN....Compared to the same Firmware Level.

I would like to ask people that have the 2 TRIP SCREENS if they could make a READ with FoCCCus in the IPC TAB.

Just click READ under the Config (0xDE**) block.

After clicking You should see the 5 lines getting populated with strings.

In this way I could try to make comparison because I think that its just a BIT that make the second Screen to be available or not.

The action is absolutely safe for Your cars because it's just a reading.

Anyway I think that to do this kind of reading You must have access to the MS-CAN......so You need an ELM327 with the Switch Modify or an ELS27 with Auto Switching.

You can use a regular elm327 with the new focccus software. No need to mod it.

Enabled fogs for the wife's focus with focccus software. Also added factor fog light switch. Waiting on wiring harness to get here and will be good to go. Also changed her shift indicator to select shift to match dash.

I recently deactivated the shift (up you idiot) light, and activated Hill Start Assist.

Very nice, and easily worth the price of admission ($10 ELM USB adapter)
 
You can turn it off if. Activating hill start assist just gives you the option in the menu.

It's a nice feature, but hard to get used to. It works really well, but it is awkward if you've driven manuals for years and are used to automatically giving it extra gas and engaging the clutch quickly, just because you're taking off from a stop up hill.

I just hope I don't get so used to it that when I go back to my Mk1 or '67 Bronco that my muscle memory doesn't take over. I doubt that will happen, because the three vehicles are very different to drive anyway, and I don't have to make mental adjustments.
 
Interesting. I tried the Hill Assist when I first started playing around with Focccus. Didn't seem to work, and I had a bunch of ABS, and traction control lights on even after clearing the codes. I also didn't go in to the menu to turn it on. I figured it just wouldn't work on my '12 SE...
Maybe I'll try it again one day. I think it would help my wife be more comfortable driving my car.

Edit: I'm still working through the proper settings for the DRL's.
 
You need to reset the abs module after changing the hill assist. That will clear all the issues. Then clear the rest with forscan.

I believe the option under the ABS tab is "initialize". Actually, I think I hit both the buttons, not knowing which to choose.

I haven't hacked around in Focccus much, for fear of messing stuff up...lol

So what bluetooth is everyone using? I followed a link from the ST site to an OBDLink MX that was a hundred dollars. I don't mind spending the money but why if I can get one for half that. I followed some that were linked in this forum and they were all cheaper ones. I am going to use it for Torque mainly but also focccus. If a $20 one will work with Torque then I'm planning on getting another with USB for focccus. Freaks me out changing the computer without a good connection.

I can understand needing bluetooth for Torque, but this is the reason I went with a cheap usb one off Amazon for BCM modifications.

I have both..I have a OBDLINK mx and I also bought a USB ELM327 adapter.
I bought the USB one just to use in the FoCCCus software to enable the selectshift option.. I am selling it if anyone needs it...there is an ad in the BST section
