... This one feels better, though it's supposedly the same.
Maybe they're the same part number but with a different revision suffix? I don't know Ford's rules, but if the form, fit, and function don't change then the part number might not have to for different (stiffer) material or internal design if a different revision level identified the change. Just a guess.

If you looked it up on fordparts.com, that only shows the identifying number for the part (what it is) not the full part number including what car it's for & versions.

Got fooled by that initially myself before learning more about ford parts numbers.

I'm figuring that's what it is - it sure feels like the eFocus RMM.

Absolutely love my Focus! Just appears to be another hatchback doesn't it. But then you drive it. Responsive steering, turns in well, holds the line you give it, whilst giving you ride comfort and refinement from a much larger car. The chassis is a class act! Well made too and with the 1.6 Ti-VCT, yes you won't win any drag races but it does return mid 5s to low 6s l/100kms around town and makes a great noise as you take it into the higher revs. A throughly impressive car and a joy to own! Now just need some alloys...

Welcome to FF!

Those would look really good Dip'd black.

My previous car was a 99 Ford Contour with V6 and the MTX 5 Speed. It was a very enjoyable car to drive and even more so with all the mods I put in it! But it was rusting out in back and parts were becoming hard to find.

So bought my 12 Focus Ti! Even more enjoyable to drive and modify!!! I had to order it directly from the factory to get the Ti handling package, Candy Blue color, and the MTX 5 speed. I swore that I would not make any mods to the Focus, but then I found this forum and became addicted to mods again!!!![hihi]

It took 2 months to get My Focus, because the dealer screwed up the order and put the crap 6 speed in the original order instead of the 5 speed! I refused to take it, so they ordered it again, this time with the 5 speed and made me an offer tooooo good to pass up. It was built 6/2012 and so far (knock on wood) I have had none the problems that show up on this forum all the time. Thank god I refused to take the 1st car with the 6 speed!!!!

Haha thanks! I'll get my alloys done! :)
Running it without hubcaps now hahaha!
IMO plasti-dipped hubcaps look 10k times better than steelies.

I definitely enjoy driving my car. To be more precise, I love walking in to my car as red and black blend in to cover the interior. I love driving the back roads to my house out in the hill country with the moonroof open and the great handling of the car as I twist and turn. The nav has been invaluable as it has helped me to get to places I don't know without using a phone that would be distracting and breaking the law. From the very beginning this car has been great to drive.[thumb]

Whups wrong thread, j/k kidding, i love it so.far...wish it had 100 more hp, but other then that...love it! ;)

I luv my Focus when operating as designed//// I hate it when DCT acts up/ I luv it even more if FORD would just Warranty the DCT-every part for 10 years 150k miles not some parts 7 years other parts 10years......(do same for whole trans ) cause I like the car!!MJB
