I've heard those ones peel and the less aren't very bright.
Just made it to the end of this thread. Took a few days, but it was worth it. LOTS of good ideas and mods in here!! I'm surprised with what our Foci can look like with a little creativity. Certainly got my gears turning. Thanks to everyone that has posted!

I got these in the mail last week, and I finally had time to put them on.
Mugrm style weather guards. They do break up wind turbulance just a little bit.
Theres a whole thread about them on the ST forum.
Also, getting my rear sway bar and rear strut tower bar sooon. So keen!

I had a set just like those, but they blew off when I hit 85. Did you use a "special" prep to get them to adhere well, or just alcohol?![Image]()

Is where I got them from + the ebay page
They help up as i went 100km/h.
I cleaned the surface with alcohol and then I used a blow dryer to heat up the 3m tape.
And it looks like it came with really heave duty 3m tape.
A lot more commendations over on focusst

Ahaha, whoa, I didn't even know the equivalent. I'll see if I can go 150 on the way home tonight and see how they hold up.
I think I'd totally understand if they dont hold up with just tape.

Wish the car didn't have a computer limited top speed, would love to see how fast it would go. I do know it has no trouble doing the 123 mph before the fuel cuts off.[hihi]

I still have mine, saw they were coming off, slowed down and peeled all 4 off. I wonder if there is a "stronger" version of the 3M tape? I know I saw on a YouTube video there is an adhesive promoter that's supposed to make the tape stick better. Maybe I can try that too. I would love to put them on the new 14.

That's a great option. The price is solid and I can vouch for TLFs quality. Plus you won't look like a moron with HIDs in your reflector halogen housing. Spewing your intense light all over the place.
I don't believe you are a moron. I'm just saying that's what goes through my head everytime I see it on the road. You will turn some heads, but disgust is not exactly the kind of attention I'm gong for.
