Gah!!! Why now? With the Focus in the shop, the budget has shrunk considerably :/

Glad you finally got that part in papa but I'm still waiting to see the other part that goes with that ;)
If the aftermarket ever made an ST-style valance it'd be great. At least the ST exhaust fits without having to cut up our original valance.

Perhaps it's time to grab an ST piece and start cutting/extending.

Someone do this please, I'd pay a good penny for it!

This would be awesome. Or make a zetec rear valance that fits the sedan. I'm partial to dual exhaust outlets.

I think I almost prefer the Zetec rear to the ST, but I've got to stick with the theme. [:)]

I love the Zetec rear. That would be awesome to have made

IMO the 3d rear is more aggressive the. The Zetec one and looks better
I feel the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I love the 3DCarbon, but I feel for me the Zetec would go with my car a bit more.

Maybe Ford already does. Does anyone know whether the rear valance from an ST Estate could be trimmed to fit a sedan rear bumper?

The sides of the Estate valance should be the right length for a sedan, but it looks like it is taller across the back part, above where the corner reflectors are on the back of a hatchback ST. It seems like it would be easier to trim the height there than to extend the length of the sides of a hatchback valance.

I don't recall seeing it discussed anywhere, maybe because the cost to get one here from Europe might make it not worth considering. It'd probably be easier to cut the 3d Carbon to fit, if you really have to have the ST exhaust, but I think Shade-010's looks pretty good with the exhaust he has. In fact, I think his looks better all around than an ST.

The estate is longer than the sedan by an additional 32 mm (1.26") so the rear valence is too long, plus it's the wrong shape to bolt onto the sedan.

ST estate for 12-14 4566mm (179.76")
MK3 Sedan 12-14 - 4534mm (178.50")

And the sides of the Estate, are extra pieces , there not connected with the Part under the backdoor. So you got 3 pieces from the rear bumper!

I knew it wouldn't be a simple bolt-on because the Estate ST valance is taller in back, but it was lazy of me to assume that since the Estate and Sedan were both longer on the sides than the hatchback that they were the same length as each other. Thanks for the accurate information I should've looked for myself.

My shiny new header before it got all dirty.
Nice :)
But
It does look good!
At first I wasn't so with the chrome headlight and the ST front bumper, but it does get into my mind slowly ;)
good job on that conversion, I would go with wheels and headlights next!
Unless you have money for a Turbo.....

Thanks... when the car was in the shop I tried separating the headlights to black out the chrome. . Black headlights are only $400. Might as well not fudge up the chrome ones.. but for now the chrome really isn't that bad..lamo... stuck between buying st rims or just some aftermarket ones??

Thank you... the only st conversion in upstate new york im sure... even had the tech confused yesterday waiting for the oil change lmao...I'm sure those badges will be well worth the wait!!!! Whenever they are ready lmk...
They should be super close now. I'm hesitant to set a date but expect them soon.
