jrsc/bbk zx3 and install??'s

hey guys, as some of you know i am going to be purchasing the JRSC with BBK very soon and i have a few questions.

What stock parts do i need to install the s/c....due to the fact that i have a CAI...do i use any stock intake parts

how difficult is the install for an inexperienced tuner....i can do basic stuff (CAI, Exhaust, HEaders), very easily.....

Since you are getting the BBK with it, it comes with the SVT snorkel and airbox. I've ordered mine too and am just waiting for it to come in. I've also been reading the instructions from the JR website. It doesn't look all that hard-maybe time consuming but not hard.

and this will definilty replace my CAI, but other than that i dont need to reuse any stock intake parts becuase the BBK comes with it....is this correct??

I'm not too sure if it comes with EVERYTHING you need. The instructions for the kit say that you will reuse some of the stock parts again. I'm assuming those things are just bolts or brackets of some sort. I haven't had mine on in a couple years now, so i'm trying to remember what the stock airbox had. I don't think it was much. If anything try to put your old airbox on and see what you are missing. I know that I'm going to also buy a new t/b and svt sr, so i'm not really going to need any of the stuff that they give you for it.

No you will not have to use any stock intake parts, and you will not need or want to use your CAI with the BBK. The kit should come supplied with every thing you need[thumb]

The BBK does come with the SVTF airbox and snorkle but if you read the last page of the JRSC+BBK install manual(JRSC M-6066-ZX3BB), it states that the ECU tune supports aftermarket intakes, headers and such. If you have a race header, you will get a CEL since there is no downstream O2 sensor but that doesn't effect performance.

As far as the install goes, make sure you have all the requires tools they recommend and review the instructions throughtly and make sure to fill in the gaps they don't explain.
Such as:
Remove passenger side splash guard. No details. They assume you know how to remove it.
There's probably other parts like that too.

I would also invest in a good off-set boxed end 15mm wrench for the tensioner pully.
They say the longer the better for leverage.
