That would be awesome to hear! I had a Z28 and had a Borla exhaust on it.

I am defiantely looking for that deep tone. How did you fit it?

Huge reducer to connect to the 2" exhaust...

That was a fun one to build, it's exaclty what he wanted so we built it. To do In front of the wheels would require cutting and modifying the rocker sheet metal and trimming the side skirtz

As soon as I get home i'll get you this video ;)

Made a custom adaptor from 2 inch to 2.5 and custom brackets to make it fit where it belongs ;)
I used the original piping, just cut stock piping about 1 inch out the exhaust.
This option gave me a cheap alternative to get a dual out exhaust like I wanted. The bolt-on exhaust is the one that fits on the mazdaspeed (both exit on the same side, so a big loop goes all the way to the other side), but was 100$ more expensive. So the adaptor did the job for me ;P

This is what I'm talking about. For some reason I love the clean look. I would loev to see a Focus with this look.

Definitely can't be a lowered Focus. Could be built.. but look under urs and look how low rocker pinch weld is

you would need to check you local laws. Here in Ontario side exit exhaust is illegal. Some cars come with factory side exhaust (Viper, SVT Mustang etc.) but they are coupes. There has to be a certain amount of clearance for the exhaust from the doors of the passenger compartment, coupes have enough clearance, 4 doors do not. Some police may not notice, but you take the chance any time you modify your car.

ontario traffic law:

Every motor vehicle or motor assisted bicycle shall be equipped with a muffler in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and excessive smoke, and no person shall use a muffler cut-out, straight exhaust, gutted muffler, hollywood muffler, by-pass or similar device upon a motor vehicle or motor assisted bicycle. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 75 (1).

no exhaust system shall be shortened or modified from original equipment so as to fail to direct the exhaust beyond the underbody of the occupant compartment or luggage compartment, and in no case shall the distance between the outlet and periphery of the underbody, past which it directs the exhaust, exceed 15 centimetres.

Two of my friends are getting killed by police officers here in Montreal.
Now we have a new law that says "police officer needs a proof with a decibel meter to say that an exhaust is not conform"
But officers are just giving away tickets to every car that looks to have modified tips, or exhaust, even when the car is turned off. They even wait behind your car, hidden, untill you start it up and boom! ticket!

So like I said, my two friends are getting killed by officers, one has a Caliber SRT-4 with a custom dual exhaust magnaflow... deep tone, clean, not ricer, but had over 500$ in tickets so far.
My other friend has a Mustang 5.0l 2013, with roush ST3 axle back... same story... Officer only told him not legal because I can see inside your pipes (ridiculous..). Roush st3 can be bought from dealer here.. still not legal...

And I... I haven't had an issue yet. crossing my fingers, but i've been followed more then 5 times by cops who seemed to be not sure about arresting me or not... I got lucky...
I took the chance of getting my magnaflow dual out, I didn't remove my first muffler to try to keep as quiet as possible...
But man it sucks here !
In some city here, like Mascouche and terrebonne, police officers are hired only to get modified cars. (smoked tail light, stance, hellaflush, lowered springs, exhaust, window tint, etc.). And they are fck[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)] hungry for our money.

don't pay the tickets and get you and everyone you know to go to court and fight it chances are if there's alot of people there for the same shit the jury pool will be from the same people and they will find you not guilty. its called "Jury nullification" scumbag prosecutors and judges that work for the state dont want you to know this information, learn it and use it. Be a FREE MAN not some slave for the state to suck off of.

Fight back dude dont just pay filthy pirates.

dont give the excuse of "I dont have the time" " I cant take off work" blah blah blah stand up to pirates or you will always be bent over gettin raw dogged real good by em.

There wouldn't be a jury in traffic court.
