Any How-To's for switching out grilles?

I can't find a thread or how-to anywhere. I'm getting an SVT grille and I'm not sure exactly how to go about changing it out with my stock one. I read one guide that involved removing the grille that said I might have to break some bolts or something, I hope this isn't the case.

Anyway, I did a search and got nothing, I was hopeing one of you could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Its a smash and grab job. You need ZERO skill to install this thing...It'll take you like less than 5 minutes to change out. I had a How-To link somewhere on my computer, let me see if I can find it for you....

Here see if this helps you any......

1. Open your hood and remove the plastic cover behind the top grill. It is held in by 4 plastic screws in what is similiar to a sheetrock molly...the screws must be unscrewed in order to pull out the surrounding plastic molly. This is NOT easy as most just spin without unscrewing. Plan to use a screwdriver or whatever else to pry these up and damage them. It's OK they're not too important. Remove the cover, out from under the intake tube and the tabs under the grill, exposing the radiator and turn signals.

2. Remove the wire and bulb from the turnsignals' housing by twisting the back of it about 1/4 turn and pulling out. Use the socket wrench to remove the 4 bolts holding in the top grill and remove it.

3. To install new grill, simply do the reverse of the un-install.

Like I said...its a VERY simple project, there's nothing to it.

Yeah, that's what I found when doing a Google search. Will damaging those screws be visble after everything is in place?

Nah. I pryed mine out and then just shoved them back in, they're fine.

You can buy replacements for those screws at PepBoys/AutoZone/wherever for cheap if it bothers you...

unscew the plastic screws on the cover, then there's 2 or 4 10mm bolts that come off undo those then take out the grille, put in the enw grille and re-attach everything
