I just got HID lights for my Hella triple lights. I have read that its not healthy to switch on and off the HIDS especially when I turn on the high beams. Is there a way to have the low beams on when I turn on my high beams? Thanks for your time in advance, I would appriciate any output..
can low beams be on while high get turned on?

^^^yea pull the light arm back and hold it there...then theyll be on at the same time.....lol no im not sure but there might be a mod on this, although its not a good idea, plus your gonna make a hella lot of people pissed off b/c your running around with all your lights on. By the way...how much was the HID kit and how much did it cost you....i got the Hellas two, just without the turn signals.
Thanks for the response!! Is your Hella kit have a oval long plug that gets attached into the stock plug that powers all your lights? Another question.. What is that electrical unit that is plugged in into the projector? Is that a motor that automatically adjusts the projector? I am still in the middle of getting all the hardware for the lights, new grill and all. I have tested the HID kit in the Hella, and it is a perfect fit, and AWESOME light, I cannot imagine Hella projectors without a HID setup, it is awesome!!!

^^^well i dont know any of the electrical stuff, b/c there were installed on the car before i bought it. But yea my hellas dont have HIDs sadly. How much was your HID kit and where did you get it from?
You can wire up your brights so that both highbeams and lowbeams come on together like this: http://www.ofoc.ca/hid/step05.html
This is how the cars that come with the stock HIDs are wired, so it should be no different for the Hella projectors. Basically since the car wiring is designed around a dual filament bulb, it prevents you from lighting both the high and the low at the same time to save the bulb and the housing from damage... but you replaced the headlights with seperated high/low beams so this is perfectly fine.
