well I figured out why mine is moving... not to figure out how to fix it... the little afjustment nob on the right side of the projector is not sitting right inside the housing... there is a little white ball that is supposed to sit inside of a groove on a black piece... it's not... if I could get the projector out I could probably slide it in plac... does anyone know where the directions to take apart the projectors are?

nevermind... I figured out how to get it back in place... and got them installed... WOO... now for night so I can see how well they work...

well, I finally got to see them at night and they are nice... not as bright as I was hoping, but good none the less... I am however going to have to remove the shields because my pssenger side light's shield is stuck and it's blocking half the light coming out... and when you turn on the high beams it just sits there and doesnt move... oh well... it will probably be my project tomorrow if I can find the tutorial on it...

also has anyone noticed that if you wire them up with the directions that you get your turn signal blinks like twice as fast? is this normal, or do I just need a stronger fuse?

Removing the sheild helps reflect a bit more light but there's still about 2 feet from the bumper that's dark but the fogs can lighten that up easily. Definitely an improvement over stock and my Halo projectors. There's no comparison. The HIDS rock !

Also, when you remove the sheilds, make sure to wipe off any finger prints off the lens before putting the HID housing back into the HL's and vacuum out any dust inside the headlight.

Either something is hooked up incorrectly (wiring) or the bulb is wrong. This is why I posted what I did about the wiring a few pages back (about a week ago). Check them both out and get back to us.

^^^ I agree. If there is no load to the grille turn sigs, then they flash fast to let you know that your bulb is out or burnt.

The ground is common between the headlight harnest and the turn sigs so you only need to run the outter wire(Blue/Orange ?) from the grille turn light harnest to the HID turn sig wire.

I left the middle wire and ground/black in the grille turn light and wired the outter wire to the HIDS green wire.

So my parking lights still go to the gille but my grille turn sigs are now in the HIDS headlight.

If your headlights are coming on, then you have a good ground.

I didn't change any fuses. Just wired up the HIDS.

The HIDS wires are:

Black = Ground
Green = Turn Sig
Yellow = High beam
Brown = Parking
White = Normal/HID

I wired mine like this:

HIDS:
-------
Black to Headlight Black
Green to Grille Turn Sig Blue/Orange
Yellow to Headlight Green/Orange
Brown = No connection
White to Headlight Green/White

I'm only going to remove them because the passengers side one is messed up... it's stuck part way and blocking the light... I'm getting a bad dark spot between the drivers and passengers side down the road... it's basically cutting off the light coming out of the left side of the projector...

I think the little button light that it uses as the turns isnt enough of a load... so I think I will switch the wires around... hopefully that will work...

Unless I'm misunderstanding you, I used the 'little button light' as my parking light and the other light as my signal. I tested the lights out with various inputs and I got the same thing you describe. So basically, swap the signal and parking light wires and you should be good to go.

I think we are on the same page... right now I'm using the little tiny light as the turn (that what the wiring diagram put it as) but I want to change it to the light on the outside of the projector...

ok cool... the sound of our blinker is irritating, especially when it's blinking twice as fast as normal...

is there any way to quiet down the clicking noise? that's just crazy loud...

Turn up the radio...[;)]

But thats a good question, when I popped my LEDs in the rear, the blinker is now on crack.... and it does get a bit annoying when sitting at a turn for 3 minutes.

To stop your crazy blinker speed in the turnsignals, you can add a resistor so it thinks it is using the normal amount of power when in fact you are not....

Now do not ask me what size because i have no idea...
