I think those won't fit my 05
The part is available, many many many people have bought them, even posted about them on this forum, go look in exterior mods...
They are ~$60
I just painted mine last week for $15, I really doubt it will chip. Primer, Paint, Clear Coat. It looks factory.

Ford MSRP for the black grille is $76.38. The part number is 5s4z-8200-bac. Your local dealer should be able to get one within 2 days. I may order one for mine. I don't like chrome.

You do know that the ST grille isn't all black? the chrome part is black on the st, but the grille itself is silver or something.

the trim is black and the mesh part is black too I have seen them on the ST

I don't know, I have the '05 Focus Brochure (the full dealer one, not the cheapo they send out), and in it, not only does it show a black st with a silverish grille, but it also says it too (I don't have it with me since I'm not home, but I'll scan it tomorrow).blkZX32005 said:

Someone did manage to put their black grill on a ST suround.
I looked at it and gave up, it is'nt easy.
I got the ST grill and had it painted to match the body color, a 100% improvement. I highly recommend it as the best mod you can do to an '05.
Also paint the lower grill bar black, a wrinkle finish will give it some texture.
