ok i have never though that these have worked but in this video (dont know if you all have seen or not) they use a leaf blower to feed the engine air. now this is al we keep calling the turbonator . everyone calls it a leaf blower that is useless. but on tape on the dyno it works.
now i dont know what to think about it.

Actually, it probably does push the air into your car more effeciently, many modern day, high performance fans use something similar to that to channel air flow so it doesn't just go every which way. Now whether or not that it will do enough to change performance I doubt it, but for smaller scaled (92mm) fans it increases direct cfms.

think about it, if it really worked dont ya think everyone would have one?

eram I mean....

well, the leaf blower actually works, I don't see why this wouldn't.......even if its a bit cheesy. But what psi/cfm does the avg. leaf blower put out though? This thing only puts out 1psi, whats that like 10cfm...lame.

the link does not work for me...
But if this is the one with the civic and the leaf-blower, it made an extra 20hp or so..
and it looked like a crappy leaf-blower at that. But honestly, 20hp for about $100 bucks.. even if it runs off the battery and a power inverter and only worked folr short bursts at a time... it does not seem like a bad deal,

and the turbonator is crap. I know its been said dozens of times but it might as well be said again... it swirls the air, which is pointless on an EFI (electronic fuel injected) engine. It might do something for fuel efficiency on a carborator thou...

Turbonator not only does nothing, it restricts your intake. How can this be good? Does sucking air into a vaccum through a non-powere fan actually move MORE air? No. Of course not.

I've thought about getting the e-ram too, it does put out 1 psi for the regular e-ram
you can get their "High performance" model and it put's out 2 psi of pressure. I've always been interested in this product but am scared to purchase it in fear of it not working.....[paranoid]

But it sounds like a legitimate product they have been around for years.
try it out (Ginny-pig it for us) [:D]

yeah, I heard that the eram works, they even had it one of those car shows on tv, and it wasn't an infomercial, it was a legit set. it looks cheesy, cost 300 bones and might not work, but they have been making them for forever, so someones buying them.

I want a leafblower/NOS setup.
