so what else can i do to get power from my car without rebuilding my motor, so far i have cai and exhaust, i know header...but what else?
well other than the headers and flex pipe, there the cam adjustment tool, and if ya have a 2.3, the b.s. delete. an sct tune or a reflasher. a bigger throttle body. thats pretty much it as far as i can think of. after that u pretty much gotta go internal. stay away from the udp tho. too big a risk for the gain

marcy motorsport for about $100. it comes with directions

the cam tool and bs delete wont give huge gains but for the money theyre nice

anything over 5 psi will pop the motor
Not true. Anything over 7 psi with a bad tune can blow the motor up.

Marcy's turbo test car that put down 265 hp with 7 psi probably had issues with the timing that caused higher power levels, but also high cylinder pressure.

As long as the tune is conservative you should be fine. The zetec guys went through this years ago. And now you see how much a stock zetec can handle.

Our options for tuning are the major hold up with all forced induction on the duratecs.

I Built my own duratec turbo setup. I'm waiting on a bug with sct to be fixed before I can really drive the car.

But I rode in the powerworks st and I watched the boost guage. It was hitting 10 psi. And the power works reps said that they've driven it safely with 13 psi before. It blew up at 15 psi. ( probably well over 300 whp)

It is too bad that we didn't get the same rods as in the mazda3, they seem to be holding up well.

There is a guy on FJ doing a diy turbo right now, he plans on slowly upping the boost until he blows the motor once his spare motor is ready.
That's me. I have a spare shortblock on stand by. I'm going to push 5 - 7 psi for now and when my new block is built i'll give the stock motor a torture test to see how much it really can handle. Then I'll call the tow truck and swap the block. [thumb]
