If you are gonna just imagine a reply. At least do some research first!I'm pretty sure the S model is the base model focus. That emblem is not from a Focus.
Just to show the actual differences [facepalm]If you are gonna just imagine a reply. At least do some research first!
The "S" is from a Focus. And is from the Aussie/Asian "Sport" version....
The Sport version has everything the Titanium has except for the park assist. So no. It definately isn't the base model [rolleyes]
In Australia we have the German built MkI Sport Sedan and Hatch. But in the Thai built MkII, we only get a Hatch.. "Which has the "S" badge...

Exactly!! The "S" emblem was ordered from the Asian market. It is the same one that Ford puts on the Titanium looking models. Plus the emblem looks just like the "S" in the "ST" emblem.If you are gonna just imagine a reply. At least do some research first!

Yes in the Thai built MkII. But the Sport sedan (as mine is) was available in the German built MkI...The Focus Sport is only available as a hatchback, not a sedan in Australia:
.
Ignoring the unique way Australia refers to cars not by actual generation but by two letter codes globally there are three generations of Focus.Yes in the Thai built MkII. But the Sport sedan (as mine is) was available in the German built MkI...
Actually I have a MkIII Ford Focus (LW MkI) Sport Sedan [thankyou]Ignoring the unique way Australia refers to cars not by actual generation but by two letter codes globally there are three generations of Focus.
Global:
MK1 =1998-2004 (C170 chassis)
MK2= 2004-2011 (C307 chassis)
MK3=2011-2015 so far (C346).
What you have is a 2011 build MK3 built in Saarlouis. The MK3 is built around the world.
So considering in Australia, they only started putting the "S" badge on the newer Thai built LW MkII Sports. Then because I have an older German built LW MkI Sport Sedan. Then even though my car IS a Sport. Then would I be a poser for putting an "S" badge on my Sport?personally i think that if you are putting a badge on a car that was not meant to have that specific badge, you are a poser, but thats just me
Good suggestion [thankyou]. However in a previous post(page 934) shows a pic of a red Focus from the Asian market and Ford puts an S below the Focus emblem. I think I will keep mine below Titanium. I thought of getting a Fusion Titanium badge as it looks a little smaller but I think it's not shiny chrome like the Focus emblem.Maybe eliminate the TANIUM and leave the TI and make it less crowded as adding the S looks just that.
If you manage to pull it off, it'll look pretty cool.So i might do this to all my other wheels, machined face, it is suuuuper easy. Gonna tape up the lip so i dont mess it up. This was just practice. What do you guys think? Right is machined left is painted![]()

Same for the Honda guys and their multitude of Type R badges adorning Civics and Accords; it's an identity crisis.i had a friend who put cobra badges on his 65 mustang, he said they looked cool...
