OK Best coolant suggestions?

And additive needed or no?

dump all the old crap and use regular green its cheap and just replace it once per year some people go with 50/50 mix I do 70/30 thats "water/coolant" don't need any additives like water wetter or purple ICE they are waste of money for this application..... you may get a couple degree drop... significant drops Ive seen In motorcycles 10 - 20 degree drop.......straight water will run cooler but no lubrication properties.

Just stick with the green

Really? So the cheaper the better ehh!

And why the hell has that shite gone up so much?? it used to be 4-6 bux a gallon?

I like a long life non-silicate to reduce water pump seal wear, colors don't mean as much anymore as there isn't a standard. Most all are at least "low silicate" so it isn't as much of an issue anymore. 'course I'm not changing every year either.

Only an idiot runs no coolant as these will rust like lightning.

Old school green works fine and I no way change it every year, usually maybe 3 years or so. Very little rust even that long.

I just did the replacement of my t housing a month ago. The nylon plastic the housing is made of was just crumbling apart. Due to all the thermo cycling and oil soaking in to the plastic. I picked on up on ebay for $32.00 just to get me buy. Alll the aluminum ones where on back order. When I put my new cams in I will replace with the better aluminum one. I was a super easy fix.
