I drove mine, polished my exhaust tips, and thought about the tune I am going to order shortly . . .

Hail was in the forecast (and today too) so I dissuaded my wife from taking the car to work and risk any damage. Claybar/detail coming soon.

I see you mentioned having Husky Weather Beater floor liners in your amazon wishlist. I also had them in my watch list for about 2 months watching the prices. Tired of waiting for a price drop I started sending ebay sellers with best offer auctions some offers. Only 1 seller was willing to budge more then $5 off the normal $128 price.
I finally was able to get a seller on ebay to accept a $100 shipped offer on a set.

Washed and detailed it plus an oil change. Shiny clean and fresh royal purple. [headbang]
Forgot how different the cai sounded without the tune installed and how different the car works with the stock pcm/ tcm tune. Happy to have the tune reinstalled after the trip to the dealer.

Dealership says come in for an oil change every 5k miles, I'm almost at 2000 (woo breaking it in!) on my '14 and wondering if that's just Ford's standard and recommendation or if doing it sooner being it's so new would be better.

First black on black car, and it was humid earlier in the week so I begin the suffering of super hot car syndrome. I'm gonna do a hand wax on it soon though and give it a full detail. After delivery, I noticed how much the detail dept sucks there.

Anyone recommend anything just for black cars? Wax, spray, cleaners, etc? I noticed the dash inside my car is almost like a sticky/rubber material so they don't take kindly to microfibers.

The B-pillar has some scratches I noticed.. not sure if it can be buffed out. Shows a lot on them black things.. and a lady door dinged me a bit the other day, I left her a 'kind' note on her car. Does bumper-to-bumper include PDR?

No on the PDR.

Maybe do an initial oil change now since there can be extra materials in the oil from the break-in but isn't necessary. Ford does my oil changes every 5000 miles but since my Focus has only seen about 2600 miles since October I'm going to have it changed anyway and they haven't given me any guff about doing them early. (We bargained in oil changes for the first 3 years/30k miles when we bought the car)

Once those are up I'll be switching to full synthetic and do my own changes.

Spraying the lower valences white as we speak. It's a longer job than I had anticipated.

Yea, that's pretty much where I'm at right now with it. It's not that close but I may live with it for a while because I don't feel like tearing it all back down now and stripping it.

No worries; it's what I used. If possible I would try to leave the adjuster up to the arm and only make adjustments with the rod end. One of my adjusters broke at the head so now it's just a sleeve for the rod end.

In case you're wondering, mine weren't the same brand though. Your adjusters may be stronger than mine were.
