^^ ah badass motorfocus cuz thats definitly the next thing i need to get..ive been tryin to contact you through aim but you never get on, keep in touch

well i got my last dyno sheet and if i wasnt such a dumbbutt then i would scan it. i suppose im a little more satisfied now.

1) im still only maxing at 127 hp but my power curve is really good. i pretty much maintain the max power from 5500 rpm to 7000 rpm with no dips..really good peak curve.
2) with my new aim cai and headers if allmotorfocus pulls through for me come in then i should be at 140 to the wheels, my other upgrades just dont serve the cams any justice
3) the idle is SOOO much better now that they tuned it right, no hesitations, perfect pur..has a really mean sound at idle but maintains it good at around 750rpm

my max power came from -2 on intake cam and +2 on exhaust and was 127.25whp and 124.05 wtq - and was on the 3rd setting on my chip which was the egr disable setting, which i didnt even know i had till after andy called ray. i still havent mashed on it yet because 1 i want to change the oil n spark plugs before and 2 my front left axle is bout shot so i just ordered a new on of those about 30 minutes ago and gonna pic it up later tonight. so by the end of the week i should have the aem cai intake installed and see how much of a difference i get, even though my peek power isnt that great im not going to focus so much on my peak gains as i will my quarter mile time and how the car feels because peek gains can sometimes be missleading as to the cars power.

for instance- my car before as stated was only at 112 whp in 3rd gear and i was beating integra LS's and getting 15.8s in the quarter mile..so its not the hp that concerns me really, but trust me with all this said, im still never going back to pro performance ever..ill make sure to make that trip to birmingham next time when i get my head and internal work done..forgot the guys name but anyway, ill post dynos when i can figure this sh!t out, thanks

^ as being the cost a grand total of 1300 after installation i think ill be in the gutter for the time being :p

what are you building a 323 gtx motor in there.

guy down here is selling a motor for 900$
and my friend has an oldskool protege with it in there.
the gtx in an escort gt is my next project.
im thinking a 3k any honda swap eater the liscence plate will say."paid4" itll have the plate in the front above the FMIC that says laugh its paid for
and the bumper sticker that says honk if parts fall off.but yet itll rape face

the escort was my first love... i had to ditch my first one cuz it was a pos and it didnt have the mazda motor...


and the ONLY reason i had the focus is because i couldnt find an Escort GT in the area when i needed a car... the focus was the next logical (i shoulda brought a zx2) step in the process.. [:D]

even though my front axle is about to go on me i couldnt wait nelonger..i took chewbacca out today and man that thing kicks

i eased it to 3k and just eased it to 5500 and man that thing gets up right now, even though its not even close to finishing for this summers project im really impressed..its like a totally different car, i cant wait till tonight when i get that d@mned front axle in so i can give it a good spin, ive only put 15 miles on it since i get the cams but so far even at this stage..that thing is a beast..chewbacca is glaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
