well i got my last dyno sheet and if i wasnt such a dumbbutt then i would scan it. i suppose im a little more satisfied now.
1) im still only maxing at 127 hp but my power curve is really good. i pretty much maintain the max power from 5500 rpm to 7000 rpm with no dips..really good peak curve.
2) with my new aim cai and headers if allmotorfocus pulls through for me come in then i should be at 140 to the wheels, my other upgrades just dont serve the cams any justice
3) the idle is SOOO much better now that they tuned it right, no hesitations, perfect pur..has a really mean sound at idle but maintains it good at around 750rpm
my max power came from -2 on intake cam and +2 on exhaust and was 127.25whp and 124.05 wtq - and was on the 3rd setting on my chip which was the egr disable setting, which i didnt even know i had till after andy called ray. i still havent mashed on it yet because 1 i want to change the oil n spark plugs before and 2 my front left axle is bout shot so i just ordered a new on of those about 30 minutes ago and gonna pic it up later tonight. so by the end of the week i should have the aem cai intake installed and see how much of a difference i get, even though my peek power isnt that great im not going to focus so much on my peak gains as i will my quarter mile time and how the car feels because peek gains can sometimes be missleading as to the cars power.
for instance- my car before as stated was only at 112 whp in 3rd gear and i was beating integra LS's and getting 15.8s in the quarter mile..so its not the hp that concerns me really, but trust me with all this said, im still never going back to pro performance ever..ill make sure to make that trip to birmingham next time when i get my head and internal work done..forgot the guys name but anyway, ill post dynos when i can figure this sh!t out, thanks
