i just wanted everyone to know that im bout to go pick up my car from the shop but im PISSED...now a grand total of 1300 bucks after installation and those cams and chip only gave me 8whp and 15wtq ...wtf?? im not gonna get all into a tizzy till i drive it but now all i have is 125/125 to the wheels and people are getting that with regular bolt ons..check what my other parts are in my sig below that i have and please tell me what the heck gives cuz i was thinkin like 135 at least..ill sign on later with the dyno sheet..befor the install i had 118 to the wheels.

Yeah, does seem low. As pio stated I'm at 124/125 with an ATX and I don't even have the FR Stg 2's installed yet. A few differences I have the PX intake, ported 2000 IM, 70MM MAF, SVT header.............maybe it was a bad tune or cams set incorrectly. Did you talk with the people at the dyno to see if they could check it again?

well i just got the car back..they said dont mash on it for another 250 miles since they are still breaking in then change the oil and he said the spark plugs are shot so i need to get those too...i dont know what the heck is happenin ...oh mother of god..im on the phone right now and the guy set it at tdc what the f!ck- this makes no sense..im going to have to call ray and ask him what this dude it talkin about..he said that ray told him the chip takes care of advancing it or retarding it..im so confused!

He will need to set (advance/retard) the cams/cam gears the chip won't do that. What does he have the cams/gears set at now, 0-0?fokuzx3 said:

yea its at 0-0, i just got off the phone with ray and he took a load off my shoulders..sounds like hes gonna call the guys here and just say you dont know what the hell your doing, cuz its true..i bet those stupid guys put the cams in wrong...i have stock lashings and everything, my car is idling like it has stage 4 crane cams in it and ray said the car should be idling smoothly..i just dont know enough about cars to tell andy(local dude who put them in) what he did wrong..all i know is that if i through a rod im in deep sh!t

Get the cams set correctly and you'll see those numbers go up..........just don't have Andy do it.

i didnt know this till my friends just got here to check it out..but andy is the same ******* who blew the motor in my friends turboed focus..CUZ THEY DIDNT TUNE IT, they just strapped it in and said hey?!...mother f!cking f!cks, the fan comes on like right after i turn the key cuz it gets so hot..ray said i should be getting at least 10-15 more hp with JUST the cams..not including the chip that i got.

ok i just got off the phone again and looks like im heading back to the dynojet...here are the factors that andy and ray told me that could affect it
1) my choice of intake
-the iceman is not as good as a cone intake and will see the least power gains the more and more stuff i put on the car, so i need to get a ram air intake setup for the best gains ie volant ...ps, i dont wanna hear i told you so
2) in alabama the humidity is alot worse and really hott and the numbers here would be alot different then there at mcnews in pennsylvania
3) i only have an orp and wont see the final gains until i get a good long tube header, ie fc or fs.
so with all this said i still should be getting at the very least 130 to the wheels. Andy didnt know about retarding or advancing them so im going to bring it back and see what they can do..ill keep yall posted

i know there's a few shops up near birmingham that know what they're doing... but i dunno if i'd drive yer car up to birmingham in the shape its in...
oh, and i have stock exhaust stuff on the way... i still have yer # so i'll let ya know when the header and flex are off the car....
