hey i was wondering if anyone could help me out want to make my zx3 a twin turbo, i have a garret t25 and a garret t3 any help with setup would be appreciated. if you have built one or seen one and have pics please email or post them thanks.

Talk to Tom. Focus-power.com HE is the turbo guy. Good luck with the 2 turbos.

yeah you're going to basically have to ditch anything stock on the zetec. pretty much starting from scratch with a cgi block and up until you even think about bolting 2 turbos onto it. i don't really know why you would want to twin turbo a fwd car imo. if you have the money to twin turbo a focus you might as well make it awd at the same time.

Isnt worth it. Sorry and the amount of money youd be looking at is ridiculous

ok, i guess after hearing all the negative mainly money , i will give up on this project, but i already have a t3 and t25 garret turbos which should i go with? and how much boost do yuo recommend on a pretty much stock engine?

if u went with a twin turbo setup im pretty sure u'd have to have 2 of the same turbos... u cant pull more out of 2 cylinders then the other 2... and if goin with a single now which is the way to go on a 4cyl i'd say use that t3 depending on the specs

I'f you have your heart set on TT go over to inductionconcepts.com You will need forged internals though. so there is no easy tt setup sorry...

Twin turboing sounds hard I heard u guys mention AWD conversion, is there a place that makes kits for that because it sounds interesting.

yeah i really wanna know more about an awd conversion. i've heard subaru rearends and also the escape tranny. but if you're looking for twinturbo awd you might as well take the whole engine and tranny from like a 2000 audi s4 because those were awd and tt. and damn fast. my cousin had one and holy god that thing flew. now he has the 2004 s4. i haven't been in that one yet but i bet it's fast a hell. btw someone should start a new thread somewhere on awd conversions.

U need to specify ur power goals before saying twin turbo. I would suggest u read up on this topic. Do a google on twin and sequential. Then search to see if anyone here has done it. IMO i would say it was not worth the time unless u had countless amount of time and money. Ditch the t2 - keep the t3 and buy toms starter kit or something.

i have all piping needed
intercooler
maf
42 lbs injectors
oil return and feed lines
all hoses needed clamps etc....
boost/vac gauge and air/fuel ratio gauge
bypass valve
and i have my own chips and apocket programmer to use with my laptop to tune.
i think i need to invest in a boost controller and possibly and external wastegate, and BOV

how do you plan on spooling 2 turbos in any reasonable amount of time with a 4 cylinder?

it takes a heavily built 6 at least to do that effectively, and usually is reserved for V8's

I have a twincharged SVT focus. M62 E clutch SC with a bypass to run only the T360 turbo after certain PSI and RPM requirements. Very powerful and tons of boost below 2000 RPM. There are times I can make 5 PSI at 1000 RPM. In the twin Turbo case, its definitly a cool thing, and would be looked highly upon if done right. BUT, it does cost a ton of $$. I thought I was getting off easy ... until .... I found something didnt work right, then I had to buy this, then fix that, then add this .... it all adds up. Even doing the work myself and doing all the fabrication, I spent over 4500 on parts alone including tuning software.
