except that ebay doesn't have the same quality control as ford [thumbd]
well that company doesn't anyways. Not all companies have the same issue with Quality. The last set I tested (no led euro) went through great, no problems at all, and actually a little better Quality then the Ford OEM ones....

They did. Once I get a review thread up I'll post pics of the "container" in which they arrived in. Solid.

[clap]

See below.

^^THIS! I'll also be removing the egg yolk very soon...after I'm done testing.

I'll have a full review up with TONS of pics soon. I'll post the link to that thread in this thread.
How's that goat behaving? any updates? [race]

i'm confused about which lights are which.
is the projector the low beam or the high beam?
is the innermost light the parking light?
is there a permanent DRL or can it be can the "DRL" be a parking light as well? It would be nice to be able to turn the DRL's on/off.

any chance someone out there can photoshop the lights jdubhack's lights onto a tuxedo black focus? I've taken a liking to them again... I know i'm back and forth. :p

Thanks.

the projector is the low beam; the innermost light is the parking light;the LED is a permanent DRL which will stay on when you turn on your engine and turn off when you turn off your engine.

Is the single red wire coming out the back of the housing for wiring the LED DRL? I've been thinking about getting a set of these but don't care for the DRL so I'm wondering if I leave that wire disconnected, will the high/low beam, parking and turn signal still operate normally?

I'll do a proper write up soon.

Inner most light: H1 bulb. Does nothing.
Middle light: H7 bulb. High-beam.
Projector: H7 bulb. Low-beam.
LED-brow: Parking light. Can be wired for DRL.

Yellow, and you're correct. With no power source to that wire, no DRL.

when you say the inner most light "does nothing" , can you give some detail as to how much "nothing"? [giggle]
it's not a parking light? in some of those pictures it's on, in some pictures it's off.
Does it just turn on when the low beam is activated?

Thanks...

When I say nothing...I mean nothing. Absolutely nothing. It's a dummy light and not used within the US market. As a matter of fact, the wire is cut leading to the bulb connector.

The AUS market does not utilize that bulb either. In some markets it is referred to as a "cornering bulb" but we do not have that here.

To ensure I'm clear. It does not go on, ever, under any circumstance. It does nothing. [thumb]

that's sad. is it illegal in the US or what? seems like a waste. If i could I'd add a parking light. on the bright side the dummy light (surrounding lens area) seems to reflect the blue-ish light from the projector, and looks cool. or am I once again suffering from visual illusion? :p

I don't think it's illegal, just not required by law. There's no need for it. You could theoretically wire a bulb in there but the housing would require heavy modification as well as wiring to go with it. I don't see how it would be worth it.

They will operate normally. The single red wire connects the LED and fuse box by their own.

Parking lights on when I open the door.

Parking Lights, LED, and Low beams on when I turn on the car and stay on parking position.

Mine is a Titanium with Automatic Headlights, so When I took those pics, the switch of the headlights is on Automatic position.

Interesting. zhadan, yours work how I would want with the exception of the LED DRL.

The lights I've seen on Alibaba have a single red wire coming out the back near where the high beam is. I contacted the seller and they sent me an install sheet that says to remove one wire (the 14th hole?) from the headlight plug and insert a wire I assume they include and run it to 25A in the fuse box. Did you guys have to do this?

yep, that is what I did. the red wire is placed in #14 hole and the fusebox.
